

Dr. Binh Phuong Le is a physician-executive and healthcare quality governance and patient safety professional with more than 20 years of experience across clinical practice, hospital and ambulatory operations, executive management, international accreditation readiness, quality-management systems, and healthcare education.
He serves as Country Director for Vietnam at the American Accreditation Commission International and as Founder, Director and Legal Representative of AACI Viet Nam Company Limited. He leads country-level development, client engagement, and local advisory, implementation, and readiness support.
Through AACI Viet Nam, Dr. Le has supported standards implementation and accreditation readiness across approximately 20 healthcare facilities, including general and specialty hospitals, university-affiliated medical centers, outpatient and procedure-based facilities, dental organizations, and multi-site healthcare systems.
His work focuses on translating standards and quality requirements into practical governance structures, safer operating processes, measurable performance systems, workforce capability, and sustainable improvement practices. Independent surveys, technical reviews, and final accreditation or certification decisions are conducted separately by authorized personnel.

CURRENT PROJECT HIGHLIGHT: Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital
In August 2026, Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital became the first public hospital in Viet Nam to begin implementing AACI International Accreditation Standards and the AACI Clinical Excellence Certification in Oncology.
The project was officially launched on August 11, 2026. It focuses on strengthening healthcare quality governance, clinical quality, patient safety, organizational standardization, person-centred care, and continuous improvement across a leading public oncology hospital.
As Country Director for Vietnam and AACI Viet Nam’s local project lead, Dr. Le leads client engagement, implementation coordination, training and readiness support, and liaison with AACI regional and technical personnel. He works with the Hospital’s leadership and responsible teams to translate applicable standards into practical systems and daily operations.
The project is currently in the implementation stage. Any future accreditation or certification outcome will be subject to independent external assessment, technical review, and authorized decision-making.
